How can we avoid being deluded by false leaders?
Revelation 18:4 “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues”
False Leaders
1 John 4:1 says "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world" Evidently, God wants us to take care in choosing our leaders and examine all that is taught to us. Reading the bible for ourselves, retaining the word of God and building a relationship with Him can prevent us from being duped by false prophets and leaders.
Luke 8:17 says, “For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light” Pray about everything, know His words and when in doubt, ask the Lord to reveal the truth to you.
